The rising costs of operating expenses, health care, benefits, transportation, special education, and cyber school tuitions place a huge burden upon school district budgets. As a result, school district funds are limited to providing students with a basic education. Foundation funds are needed to support and enhance students’ educational opportunities by making available high-quality technology and innovative 21st Century resources. 

Donations to the Foundation are needed to ensure that Claysburg Kimmel students are provided with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics) opportunities that the school district budget cannot provide. Thanks to our generous donors, Claysburg-Kimmel students are able to have the same high-quality educational experiences enjoyed by students attending wealthier school districts.
